Westausgang Dessau, Köthen, Bernburg after the turn, a region which short-timely reaches from the periphery in the public interest. Soon, it sinks in this again. The face of the region shows lanes, grains which the war and the post-war period have left.
The story of two German states meet on each other. The time of the makeup shines to last still, but new attempts get visible. The special difficulties let themselves be seen: the region is full loaded with history. It has inconsistent relations to it's own history. Now it is able to handle the contradictory inheritance of the past more self-confidently.
The video installation it is about "urban landscapes“ in transition. It is about the question how the situation represents itself today. Teenagers speak to their points of view. Contemporary witnesses, managing director of the new formed market and city planner who have experienced the turn actively, give their comment as well.
