Statement
Astral is an anarchic video-dictionary, many words have been written
since I made it although if I should say how conscious I was
when this dvd was made... the answer would probably be not printed
on paper rather thab doing a new video.
Biography
I was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1977, getting my Bachelor with
Honours in Arts by the UCLM (Castilla-La Mancha University),
the UCLM are, mostly, the guys that were performing the "movida" from
Madrid and then became university teachers. After that (with
a year between in Czech) I moved to Barcelona to get my Master
in Digital Arts by the University Pompeu i Fabra and then to
Germany (where I live). Until today I´ve been making exhibitions
in Spain, UK, Turkey, Poland, Czech, Germany inside others...
while I study at the University of Ulster. Sounds messy, yes,
but I swear this is what I really like. As I don´t remember
grants and prizes due to my tiredness after the first screenings
of today, I am very happy to say in petit comite that next year
I´ll be summerged in Poland because the Spanish Ministry
of Foreign Affairs granted me to study how the Spanish culture
is studied over there. |
