.: Biography

Born in 1961 in Carnaubeira da Penha, Brazil. Lives and works in São Paulo and
Paris.
Doctoral candidate in Contemporary Subjectivity, PUC-Sao Paulo; Master in Art
History/Studio Arts at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
As a cultural activist, founder and supervisor since February 2002 of The
Space of Automony Experimental Rés do Chão, a living space, within a flat in
the center of Rio de Janeiro. Rés do Chão is a non profit organisation, which
operates from a space of 42m2 but also behave as a collective of
Performances which takes place in different locations according to the
specificities of each project. Editor for the magazine Nos Contemporaneos (Contemporary nods)
